James Beatty Hunter

James Hunter (MPHIL, GDM-Leadership, CPCC) specializes in leadership and leadership development. He is a faculty member of the McGill Executive Institute and McGill's School of Continuing Studies, where he has been nominated four times for the Distinguished Teaching Award. James is also a coaching and leadership development associate with Alto Leadership, an international firm dedicated to optimizing organizational capacity and team leadership. He leads consulting initiatives with large and small companies on developing people and building capacity to create and sustain high-performing, healthy organizations. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Oxford.

As a faculty member of the McGill Executive Institute and lecturer in the Desautels Faculty of Management, Miriam Carver’s areas of expertise include leadership development, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, building teams, customer service, executive coaching, and emotional intelligence. She consults with a wide variety of organizations in diverse sectors, from manufacturing and telecommunications to government and healthcare. She holds a Master’s in Education (Counselling Psychology) from McGill University and has completed additional graduate work in Organizational Development and Conflict Resolution.
